Kindness is something you don’t see much anymore and hiding behind masks these days seem to make us even more unkind. People are so self-centered that they only care about themselves. We live in a get even world. If someone does us wrong, then we have the right to do them wrong. If someone lies about us, we lie about them. If someone hurts us, we try to find a way to hurt them. God instructs us to be kind to everyone, not pick out only those who see things our way or live life the way we want them to live. It is easy to be kind to the people we call our friends, but sometimes it is not as easy to show kindness to those who serve us. We feel like we are higher and mightier than they are. (1 Thessalonians 5:15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always thrive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.) Show kindness to the person in the drive through who made a mistake with your order. Show kindness with the cashier that is slower than you would like them to be. Say thank you to the garbage man who picks up your garbage. Give an extra dollar to the person who cares for your lawn. There are many ways to show kindness.
