I was taught that if something is worthwhile to do, you will always have someone oppose what you do. Think about it, even the simplest things that we do in life have opposition. When you exercise to make our bodies better we face soreness and fatigue that challenges our dedication. When we shop for groceries we face long lines and slow checkouts that wear on our patience. When we attempt to do something different in the church, there are always people who want things like they always have been. When we attempt to reach out to people to assist them, there are always people who oppose the good you are attempting to accomplish. Pastor has said many times that if you want to go to a new level, you have to prepare to fight a bigger devil. (1 Corinthians 16:9 Because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.) Don’t get caught up in the daily struggle fighting Satan. Stay with what God has called you to do and work in His divine plan for your life and let God open and close doors. You need to remember what John told us, Greater is He who is in you than he that is in the world. Stand in the authority that God has given you and continue to serve Him. Keep going, let God fight your battles, and He will work things out the way they need to go. The one thing we can not afford to do is stop. Too many have quit what God has called them to do because of opposition. If opposition stops you, Satan will see that you always face it. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
