Everything God does for you is because he loves you and it is for your good. The psalmist David said “All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful.” When God doesn’t answer your prayers the way you want him to answer them, Satan begins to tell you that God doesn’t love you, or care about you. Just remember, Satan is a liar. (Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.) The hardest thing to understand as a child was why your parents would tell you no when other parents were letting their children do the same thing. There were many times when I did not understand the answer I received from my earthly parents. I have questioned many times why God did not do what I asked him today, but I accept His answer was for my good. I know that even though I don’t understand God’s answer, I know it is motivated by His love for me. So if God doesn’t do what you ask him to do today, just know it’s because He loves you and is looking out for your best interest. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
