Give God Your All
Going into this New Year, be challenged to give God your all. We’ll never get the best of what God has for us until we give the best we’ve got for him.
If I can give the best effort in other areas on my life, I’m certainly not going to short God when it comes to giving it my all. I’ll never get the best of what God has for me until I give the best I’ve got for him.
Jeremiah 29:11-13
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Matthew 22:37
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
True worship means using our mind, our will, and our emotions. Give it your all!
King David lived an imperfect life, failed god in many ways, but the Bible described him as a man after is God’s own heart. David said I wasn’t doing this for these people, I was doing it for God… the God who chose me…anointed me… And whose presence we have with us today. David went on to say… you haven’t seen anything yet, I’m going to give it my all in worship to God! The Disciples were the same way.
Luke 19:37-40
When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
In 2024, I’m going to worship with everything I’ve got. I’m going to give it my all!
