I love to read about the Exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt. The courage and faith Moses showed is such a great example to all of us. The disregard for his own life and welfare by approaching the most powerful man in the world at the time and telling him that the slaves who have been building your pyramids are going to be leaving your country. You can build these pyramids yourself, God has told us it is time to leave this place. What FAITH! What COURAGE! What victory over his own FEAR! (Hebrews 11:27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.) Do you want the same kind of faith in your life so that you can overcome your fear? The closer you get to God, the more you’re going to be filled with faith. The further away you get from God, the more you’re going to be filled with fear. Do you want something to change in your life? Stop complaining and start believing. God is not moved by complaints. God is moved by faith: “According to your faith let it be done to you” (Matthew 9:29 NIV). You get to choose what he does in your life.
