Endtime Evaluation
Heed what the Lord is saying about the endtimes! In this endtime evaluation, people and the nations that do not know what to do next and listens to many voices from many different places needs to listen to what the Lord is saying.
In Luke 21, Jesus talked of a time of wars, earthquakes, famines, and fearful sights. He instructed us to settle our hearts and not linger on what we see. Satan wants us to be afraid and suffer great fear in our hearts and react with our emotions. Satan will attempt to get you emotionally charged by getting you to compare yourself to others. He wants you to look at how God is blessing your neighbor rather than focus on your relationship with God. We need to continue to pray and see how we have been blessed by Him.
Luke 22:31-34
31“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.
32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”
33 But he replied, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”
34 Jesus answered, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
I. Satan is a determined foe.
He wants nothing more than to cut the heart of God by sifting your life and mine. He want to show God and the world that there is nothing to our professions of faith.
II. Jesus is a diligent friend.
The times of testing and failure will come in your life and mine, but in the midst of them let us take courage in the fact that we have Someone pleading our case, taking our part, praying for us in Heaven.
III. He has provided a distinguished future.
God has made a provision for the cleaning and the restoration of those who fall into sin. The Lord will forgive and restore the fallen one to a place of service and blessing.
IV. Don’t fall for a definite foolishness.
No one is above falling into the snare of the enemy. Only when you are in His sifter can you know exactly what you will do. In the area of your life where you think you are strongest, that’s where the adversary levels his attack.
