Who Is This?

As we approach Easter, may we live our lives in a way that shows the lost world who Jesus is. May the world see Jesus in us and want to know him personally.

When it comes to Jesus- there is a question that so many people look at him and ask- Who is this?

Many people can tell you who he is by what he did for them. For many he is a Savior, a Healer, a Provider.

As Jesus rode into Jerusalem, the multitude  cried out “Hosanna”. The city was moved, and they asked “Who is this?”. Jesus had just performed miracles. Jesus had healed the sick, Jesus had made the lame walk, and given sight to the blind. Jesus had just raised a man from the dead, and when the people saw Jesus coming into Jerusalem, they had to ask who Jesus was. Like t

As Christians, we know who Jesus is, and we should not let the world tell us who Jesus is.

In Matthew 21:9, Jesus was called “son of David”- the Messiah. He was the savior the angel promised. When it was asked “who is this”, the multitude answered that he’s a prophet. He went from the Messiah to just a prophet.

The church knows who Jesus is and it’s time that the church tells the world who Jesus is- the healer, the provider, the deliverer, the sanctifier, the Holy Ghost baptizer. He is alpha and omega. He is the way, the truth, and the light.

 

Matthew 21:9-11

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.  And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

 

The Bible is filled with people who have a testimony of who God and who Jesus is. They are people just like you and I who all fall short of God’s glory, but God used them to do mighty things for his kingdom.
